WEEKLY SCHEDULE #5 – 9/23/24 – 9/28/24

Hello Marching Band fans, 

First and foremost, THANK YOU to EVERYONE (parents, alumni, students, etc etc) who volunteered at yesterday’s Marching Band Classic! What a beautiful day it was to hold our home show, and what a well-run show it was! To all of the RHSBPA, thank you for the countless hours spent getting things ready and leading the charge, especially after 1) a lot of officer turnover, and 2) not having a classic last year. We are lucky to have you all as a part of our band family!

I hope you all enjoyed our first performance of Rearrange, and I hope you are all as excited about the new uniforms as we are! There are many exciting things we have planned to add to our show and I am looking forward to getting them into the mix over the next few weeks. Please join us at Randolph HS this upcoming weekend to cheer on our Marching Gaels!

Tuesday 9/24 GAELS FULL REHEARSAL 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM

We will meet at 2:30 to outline our goals for the week.

Wednesday 9/25 GAELS FULL REHEARSAL 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Wind & guard sectionals as scheduled

Percussion sectionals @ 4:30pm – 5:30pm (30 minute break at 5:30)

Friday 9/27 GAELS FULL REHEARSAL 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

*NO FOOTBALL GAME*

Saturday 9/28 GAELS FULL REHEARSAL 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Meeting in Band Room @ 9:00 AM

Lunch will be at 11:30 AM

2024 RANDOLPH COMPETITION

• 3:00 PM – Gaels Rehearsal ends, Eat/Load/Change
• 4:30 PM – Gaels depart for Randolph HS
• 7:00 PM – MARCHING GAELS PERFORM
  • Students will have time to get concessions before awards
• 9:15 PM – Awards Ceremony
• 10:30 PM – Anticipated pick-up time at RHS

REMINDERS FOR PARENTS….

• This week’s rehearsals are crucial as we head into competition season.. Please make sure your child is staying healthy, getting plenty of rest.
• Please continue to keep track of rehearsal end times so we can get students out on time and send staff home on time. Please remember to stay out of the bus lanes, students should continue to meet you in parking spaces.
• I will be sending out season updates about rehearsals, football games, etc. through our parents’ Reminds, please make sure you are signed up. You should only be joining ONE Remind group so there is room for everyone. Instructions can be found in the handbook.
