Good morning and welcome to Show Week!! We made it this far and we have been so lucky to have so many helping hands along the way. However, we are still in need of extra help to make our Classic a huge success.

Reminder: there is a meeting for chairs only on Wednesday at 7:30 in the band room. We will wait until everyone arrives from the field if you are participating in Logistics. This is our final meeting before Saturday so please make every effort to attend.

Important Sign Ups:

1.  Classic Sign Up  This is the general sign up to volunteer during the day of the Classic. Please remember if you are selling tickets, working concessions (on a register), or parking, you must be 18 or older.

2. Bake Sale  This is the sign up to donate to the bake sale. If you plan to make something that needs identification, or has nuts, please label as such. This way anyone working knows what they are selling.

3. Trophy Presentations  This sign up is now open to all grades. This is for anyone interested in presenting a trophy at awards. Awards start at 8:00.

In addition, we are still in need of help for our Logistics crew for each competition, including our home show. For anyone interested in moving equipment, please meet on Wednesday in the end zone, at 6:45 pm. Here is the link to join our competition logistics crew. Logistics

If you have any students in the high school who need volunteer hours, we have plenty of small jobs that need to happen as well. We will need several runners to/from the press box as well as individuals to hold ropes up so no one goes into the stands during performances. Any student working the Classic will earn volunteer hours.

We are still in need of coolers and pop up tents as well. They can be dropped off Saturday morning. Please make sure they are labeled. They will be returned once the Classic is over.

Donations are still being accepted this week. They can be placed outside the band doors at drop off or pick up and I’ll be sure to bring them inside. I will be running between baseball and band on Tuesday so I might not be around in person.

There will be a walk through on Friday night at 4:45. Once you drop dinner to your student, you can come around to the back parking lot. We’ll meet there and discuss the flow of bands, how they get to/from the field and all warm up spots.

If you still have questions, please feel free to reach out to me anytime. We are almost there! Thank you to everyone for all of their hard work. We truly are “one band, one family!”
