All students should plan on attending unless there is a serious and direct conflict. It is an honor to be recognized and we want the full group to be present at both events. Neither will take too long and your presence is greatly appreciated by those giving the recognition. Please make every effort to be at both!
Roxbury Town Council recognition: The Marching Gaels will be recognized at the meeting on the evening of Tuesday, December 10th, beginning at 7:30pm in Roxbury Town Hall (1715 Route 46 West, Ledgewood – Park in the back, enter through the back as well, the Council room is on the left side of the lobby). I would ask that all students arrive around 7:10-7:15 so we can get you organized in alphabetical order.
Roxbury Board of Education recognition: This is yet to be officially confirmed, but talking to Mr. Mason, we are aiming for the December board meeting on Monday, December 9th, beginning at 7:30pm. Similar to above, we’d ask students to arrive between 7:10-7:15 to get organized alphabetically.
Once I have confirmation about the BoE, I’ll confirm with you all. But please mark both dates down and plan for students to be present.
