Hello Everyone…
I just wanted to take a quick moment to send a HUGE thank you to everyone who contributed to making the 14th Annual Marching Band Classic a great success. The feedback I received from visiting families, directors and our judge panel has been nothing but complimentary. This year was exceptionally difficult as this event was canceled last year due to weather. “Resurrecting” an event is never easy. This year, with lots of new people involved, made it an even greater challenge. However, thanks to the hard work and dedication of so many people, we were able to run a great event.
To all the people who donated their time to help during the event, or who donated generously to support the event, thank you. You are the “backbone” of our success.
To the wonderful Classic Chairs – this email would be too long if I were to thank you individually but I want you all to know how much I appreciate your time and effort. Everything ran smoothly thanks to your time and planning. From our amazing program and updated website, tickets, concessions and bake sale, parking and logistics, field coordination, to our NEW UNIFORMS (didn’t the kids look AMAZING!!!!), and anything else I am forgetting, I am so incredibly grateful for your help.
To the Masi family, Stephan and Rose Szardenings and any other “alumni” of the organization who continue to help us: This year more than ever, with a year “off” and lots of new help, your time and expertise was needed and appreciated. Thank You!
Finally, to our new RHS BPA President, Jenn Batsch: You took on this role as President and Classic co-chair later in the summer than I had anticipated. You did not hesitate to step up to support our students and program. You handled every bump and hurdle with grace and poise and I am so thankful to have you in this role!!!
To all involved, on behalf of myself, our staff and most importantly, our students, THANK YOU for all you do to support us day in and day out. I am so grateful to be part of such an amazing community.
With Humble Gratitude,
~J. Conrad
