Hello everyone!
Thank you to all who attended the Classic meeting last night. We are at a critical point in planning now, as we are only 9 days away. We need people to volunteer throughout the day to make this event successful. As I explained last night, we have to make sure we are staffed in all areas to ensure things run smoothly and there are no long lines. Please CLICK HERE for the volunteer sign up!
A few important items:
1. There will be a Classic Chairs only meeting on Wednesday 9/18 at 7:30 pm. This meeting will be the final one before Saturday so all plans will be finalized. It is important that all chairs are present to go over final details, timelines etc.
2. Donations will be collected at the Band Room Door on the following dates (everything donated will remain at the school until Saturday! Please label anything you are bringing!)
Saturday 9:00-10:00 am, 4:30-5:15pm
Tuesday 5:30-6:30 pm
Wednesday 4:30-5:30, 8:00 pm-on
Friday 4:30-5:30pm
(We will make sure none of the food is eaten 🙂 )
3. The following items are the most needed donations right now:
Coffee Urns
Crock pots
Coolers
Pop Up Tents
Large Gatorade bottles (any flavor)
Mac and Cheese cups (EZ Mac)
Large sized candy bars, Skittles, M&M’s, Swedish Fish, Sour Patch Kids
Doritos (red bags, for walking tacos)
4. Bake Sale donations will be a seperate Sign Up Genius that will be sent out over the weekend. We are also looking for several people to cook ground beef for walking tacos. Items can be dropped off on Saturday 9/21 no later than 4pm (or sent in with your student that morning).
5. Walk Through: please meet on Friday, 9/20, prior to the football game, for a site walk through. This should take no more than 30 minutes. Once your student picks up their dinner, we’ll be in the back parking lot behind the school.
6. Ad deadlines are Friday! No late submissions will be accepted. The program goes to the printer on Monday!
Thank you to everyone! Just remember that everything we are doing now benefits our children. They are going to remember this day forever.
The countdown is on!
With appreciation,
Jenn Batsch, President RHSBPA
