This week, students were all registered for our first major fundraiser of the year, the Ashley Farms cheesecake sale (and many other items as well). This sale will be done through an on-line platform only. You will not have to worry about brochures, collecting money, etc. If your student was not registered for the fundraiser in class, please click here to get set up. After your student is registered, please take a look at the directions below from Mr. Messina (owner and operator of Ashley Farms fundraising):
“Once they have joined the sale, they must set up their profile page, which Must include a smiling selfie, this is VERY important. Once they have done that, they must go to their My Circle and click on as many adults as they have in their contacts. They can hit the helpers tab and have mom or dad share contacts with them from their phone. Once the contacts are in their phone, they need to hit the blue box next to their name, it will then turn green, which means they have sent it. They can also hit the My QR code tab to show people like teachers that are not in their contacts. Each student has their own QR code, in essence they have their own little online store for two weeks. They can also hit the share tab which allows them to share this to social media. Their goal should be to send this to at least 20 to 25 people. Keep in mind, your group is selling our wonderful cheesecakes, cookie dough, pies, etc, the donations are an addition to the products.”
If you want to share with people that you don’t have personal contacts for (perhaps work contacts), you can always copy and paste your student’s individual QR code and label it with their name, print a hard copy, and leave it in shared spaces (break room for example) for others to scan and shop! The sale lasts until 11/15 and the profits raised will go to INDIVIDUAL student accounts, NOT the general band fund.
